Genesis and the Book of James
The Triangle Bible Study for 2026/2027
You are invited to join hundreds of people from all over the Triangle to explore the books of the Bible. This year, we will begin with Genesis. The title Genesis, which is Greek, means “origin,” and the first word in the Hebrew of Genesis is translated “in the beginning.” Genesis is the book of beginnings: the beginning of the world, the human race, of sin in the world, the promise of redemption, family life, civilization, the nations of the world, and the Hebrew people. It answers the question of where you come from, where you find your identity, and even your destiny. It is a great book that sets the stage for the rest of the Bible. The Book of James has been called “A Practical Guide to Christian Life and Conduct.” It answers questions about how we should live. It is the Proverbs of the New Testament. It acts as a moral compass, guiding you in living out the ethics of the Christian faith. This study is ideal if you are new to studying God’s Word or have been walking with Christ for a long time.
God’s Word is refreshing, challenging, and engaging. Our goal is to be taught, trained, and transformed by God’s Word. We meet on Tuesday nights for small group discussions and a large group lecture. Please register and join us this year. The Fall Semester begins on Tuesday, September 15, at 7 pm. For more information, email your questions to info@TriangleBibleStudy.com, and we will get back to you.
